Joining subject matter with discipline expertise

The centrepiece of a digital transformation and company process transformation that focused on positioning the company to be app-first, finishing the rebrand implementation and creating a more customer focused user experience. All of this while also overhauling how Racing Post the entire business worked with digital product, design, research and content. 

My role included UX / UI design, research direction, design direction, cross departmental-programme management, multi-channel brand coordination, and customer championship.

This project impacted all digital products, both directly and indirectly from the strategy, business objectives and priorities, coordination with Editorial and data management departments, to the specific user experience and brand execution. 

All The Evil Bakery: Brand + AI for IRL

(Coming soon) Branding + AI strategy & mapping + Hands-on design (mobile app, printed books, packaging). A side project. A business concept with a mobile app that helps people have lovely IRL experiences by pairing sweet treats with cocktails – for at home or out in the wild.

 

Smart View chip

Design & research direction + Hands-on design: Redesigning news and content modules for web and app to be more flexible, more engaging, and provide more organic integration and navigation between Racing Post’s news section and data focused content.

 

 Design & research direction + Hands-on design: A case study showcasing how to bring a long time, mostly offline customer audience through a journey to adoption of a more useful digital tool that could help them enjoy racing even more. 

Smart View chip

Design vision + research direction + UX direction: A monumentally successful new product for the Racing Post built specifically from larger user research insights, subject matter expertise and a drive to engage a new audience. 

 

Design vision + direction: Bringing consolidation and sanity to a tech platform and customer experience that had been pulled in too many directions after several company acquisitions and a recent global rebrand.

Hands-on design: An array of great brands and creative people that I had the pleasure of bringing into the wonderful world of branding.
